Our cocktail or "Dogtail" list is a mixture of old favourites and some inventive twists on a few classics. We have adapted the names to make them all dog-related....and to pass them off as our own! Enjoy.
Havanese (Mojito)
Renamed after the national dog of Cuba, the drink that never goes out of fashion. Our version uses a rich
Jamaican estate rum. Appleton’s V/X, sugar, fresh lime, fresh mint and loads of
crushed ice. £6.50
Elderflower Collie
A little extra flavour added to the
classic Collins. Plymouth gin, elderflower, lemon juice and sugar syrup served
long over ice and topped up with soda. £6.50
Lynchburg Labrador
A West Country version of the classic Lynchburg Lemonade. Jack Daniels, orange liqueur, fresh lemon juice and sugar shaken over ice and topped up with Thatchers Gold. Gurt… £6.50
Dog Collar (Espresso Martini)
An elegant pick-me-up in a martini
glass. A choice of Absolut vodka or Appleton 8 year old rum, espresso, Kahlua
and sugar. £6.50
Mongrel
Quite simply- half a Thatchers Gold & half a ‘rough’ cider in one happy pint mug. £3.30
British Bulldog
The love child of the popular classics the Mojito and the quintessentially British G&T. Bulldog gin,
fresh lime juice, cucumber, mint leaves and sugar muddled together, topped up
with tonic and served with loads of crushed ice for a long, refreshing drink. £6.50
Hair Of The Dog (Bloody Mary)
The ideal morning after cocktail, made to taste. Containing all the classic ingredients,
vodka, Tabasco, Worcester sauce, tomato juice, celery salt and
lemon juice with a dash of sherry. Healing. £6.50
Marmaduke Martini
The breakfast of champions! Chase Marmalade vodka, grapefruit juice, orange bitters, fresh lemon juice and a touch of sugar shaken over ice. The perfect way to start (or finish) your day! £6.50
The Growler
This drink’s bark is worse than its bite. A deliciously fresh cocktail with Tanqueray gin, juice of a fresh, pink
grapefruit and sugar syrup shaken together and served in a martini glass. £6.50
The Lazy Pipe Dream (only two per person recommended)
Our version of the infamous Zombie, Appleton VX & White rums, Mount Gay rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, orange juice, grenadine & passion fruit syrups, a few drops of absinthe and Wray & Nephews overproof rum float. Deadly. £8.00
